Mouse Gear got an upgrade! The Creations Shop is now open at EPCOT and we were there check out the new location and all that it has to offer.
The Creations Shop is one of the first glimpse of the new phase of World Celebration, previously Future World. This is the new flagship merchandise destination that is at Epcot and it did not disappoint!
Sprinkled throughout the shop is artwork of Mickey Mouse in various mediums created by Imagineers, mixed with a modern and refreshed design of the building itself. You can tell that this shop is heavily influenced by the creativity that Mickey Mouse has inspired within many of us and the vision of EPCOT and the possibilities of tomorrow.
The Creation Shop will also feature unique merchandise that is specific to EPCOT. The Light & Color Collection is a mix of old and new with its 80’s to 90’s color palate and a white modern, clean design with Epcot’s logo and Spaceship Earth pattern featured. You can find items like:
· Jackets and shirts
· Sweatpants
· Backpacks
· Hats and ears
· Homeware items like vases and mugs
· Stationary
I personally love the subtle futuristic version of the two designs and ended up going home with mesh hoodie, vase, and a hat (I am a huge EPCOT fan). If you are worried that you will miss out on these collections by the time your next trip comes up, don’t worry! These two versions of the collection will be permanently in the shop as the official collection of EPCOT.
With the Creation Shop finally opening, we are one step closer to a completed EPCOT once again and less construction walls!
