Cry, Fly and Fall In Love With Dumbo All Over Again

A new trailer has dropped for the highly anticipated live-action remake of Walt Disney’s classic animated film, Dumbo. And it’s both heartbreaking and visually gorgeous at the same time.

The creative genius behind Edward Scissorhands and The Nightmare Before Christmas is at the helm of this project, and when you attach Tim Burton to a film, expect a visual overload that will allow your imagination to soar.

With this new teaser trailer also comes the release date; March 2019. And if you’re a fan of the original, it’s looking like the creative direction of this film will preserve everything you loved about the original while mastering a whole new approach. It’s Also a bit darker than the original Disney animated film, which is a trademark of Tim Burton.

The trailer starts off with a dreamlike rendition of Baby Mine, performed by Norwegian popstar Aurora. If you’re not crying after the first 45 seconds of the trailer, give yourself an additional 10 seconds to start bawling like a baby.

There’s also an all-star cast appearing on screen, with Colin Farrell, Danny DeVito, Michal Keaton, Eva Green and Alan Arkin. From what we’ve already known and been told, this is a CGI/Live Action hybrid which follows along the format of the recent live action remake of The Jungle Book.

We're ecstatic about Dumbo and cannot wait to see it in theaters next Spring! Which scene are you looking forward to seeing reimagined by Tim Burton? Personally, I'm looking forward to the Pink Elephants!
